Short run away to Scarborough Beach and Kings Park

We took advantage of the nice weather of last week to go out of Perth (we went round it very quickly) to one of the west coast beach, Scarborough beach. 40 minutes by bus (yes, we still haven’t found any vehicle yet…) for 7$ (return ticket).

The beach is big. Let’s say HUGE rather than big!! Large waves, cold water, and so windy…too bad! Doesn’t make you feel like swimming… Some (rare) surfers, but heaps of kite surfs.

Beside having a snooze and a bit of reading, we didn’t do much. We just took time to relax our mind

Another pleasant run away: Kings Park. Gigantic park! People do their jogging, enjoy barbies (barbecue stuff is put at anyone’s disposal for free) or simply hang around, just like us !! A must do if you drop by Perth
